cheesy yellow deposits on pharynx at the back of the mouth

TRICHOMONIASIS HEXAMITIASIS CANKER is a cheesy yellow deposits are seen on the membranes of the pharynx at the back of the mouth. Can affect food intake and also breathing.

Severely affected birds are depressed, food intake is reduced.
Affected birds may have diarrhoea.
Water intake may increase.

HEXAMITIASIS (also wrongly called intestinal trichomonosis) is most common in spring and in summer. Clinical symptoms: Vomiting and intestinal problems, Watery, dirty diarrhea, Pigeons are drinking a lot, Pigeons lose their weight and are washed-out, Sometimes death (not often).
